What is a peptide?
Peptides are similar to proteins in the sense that they are a short chain of amino acids and our bodies naturally produce them. They act as signaling molecules that instruct other cells and molecules on what functions to perform. There are over 7000 known peptides in our bodies that help enhance the immune system, improve athletic performance, alleviate anxiety and depression, and help burn fat cells.
